Fixx launches Japan's first training support program for mechanic students in India

Based on an MOU with Next Bharat Ventures, a Suzuki subsidiary, Fixx Inc. has launched a training support program for mechanic students in India — the first initiative of its kind by a Japanese company.
The program serves aspiring mechanics enrolled at ITI (Industrial Training Institute), India's government-certified vocational schools. Our original curriculum combines Fixx's maintenance know-how with the language and culture education of the Japan-India "Kimochi Project": Japanese maintenance practice and work quality, Japanese language and culture, hands-on light-maintenance training on real vehicles, and autonomous vehicle experiences.
With Japan's maintenance industry facing a chronic shortage of mechanics, Fixx provides end-to-end support from training in India to settlement in the field in Japan — building a bridge of talent that supports Japan's mobility infrastructure.
